The benefits of our health and wellness athletic program
Creating confidence,
strengthening muscle tone, increase range of motion, improving balance and stability, improving coordination movements, catching, throwing, hitting and kicking balls, accelerating age-appropriate gross motor skills, and creating a love for sports!

Language and Communication
Repeating words and phrases, like “please” and “thank you” and learning to elaborate on nonverbal expressions like “High-Fives” and “2 Thumbs Up.” Naming and identifying items, like various names of kinds of balls and equipment for the sports. Making back-and-forth exchanges with other classmates.
Motor Skill Growth
Improving running, climbing, bending and jumping through activities like toe touches and obstacle courses. Practicing throwing, catching and kicking balls with games like basketball and hoop toss. Learning to walk backwards through guided activities.


Social & Emotional Growth
Learning how to take turns and play alongside classmates through activities. Developing pride in accomplishments and showing interest in peers’ actions through supportive activities Understanding emotions through songs. Developing independence by inviting children to participate together.
Cognitive Development
Developing spatial awareness and learning to follow directions through activities. Learning about heights, stepping and jumping up and down properly.
